U.S. Spy Agencies Employed 1,000 Nazis

ciaHave we no shame? Throughout the Cold War, the FBI and CIA hired at least 1,000 Nazis as spies and informants. The agencies concealed their ties to those living in the U.S., deciding their value to fight the Russians was more important than the “moral lapses” of the past.

This practice continued up to the 1990s, when a CIA lawyer put pressure on investigators to stop looking into a suspected Nazi who once spied for the U.S., although he was implicated in a massacre of 60,000 Jews. The U.S. even moved SS officer Otto von Bolschwing, a top aide to Adolf Eichmann, to New York City in the 1950s. Read more at The New York Times.

  1. If the NYT would have cried out about the Shoah instead of participating in covering it up then maybe they wouldn’t have to print these stories.

  2. The entire US space program was based upon experiments performed on Jews in world war 2. Operation Paperclip brought Nazi scientists to huntsville,Al where they worked on rockets. The joke was nazi scmazi he does not frown,nazi scmazi Werner von Braun.He was not an innocent German.One person ( a jew ) in the State Department Samuel Klaus tried to no avail to stop Operation Paperclip
