U.S. Ups Threat Level at Military Bases

Terror levels at U.S. military bases were raised last night, hours after officials warned that thousands of online followers of the so-called Islamic State reside within the country.

“We have a general concern, obviously, that ISIL is focusing on the uniformed military and law enforcement,” FBI Director James Comey told reporters.

Military bases are now under “force protection bravo,” meaning an “increased and predictable threat of terrorism,” but U.S. Northern Command spokesman Jeff Davis said the “change is not tied to a specific, credible threat.” Read more at CNN.
