Sarin nerve gas was used in the deadly April attack on a Syrian town that killed more than 90 people, an inquiry by an international chemical-weapons watchdog confirmed Friday. The attack in Idlib province sparked outrage the world over after videos were broadcast showing shaking children dying on camera.

“I strongly condemn this atrocity, which wholly contradicts the norms enshrined in the Chemical Weapons Convention,” said Ahmet Uzumcu, director-general of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, in a statement. “The perpetrators of this horrific attack must be held accountable for their crimes.”

Notably, the inquiry did not assign blame to any specific actors, but the report will be used by a United Nations-OPCW joint investigation team to determine who was responsible for the atrocity. Read more at THE NEW YORK TIMES.

  1. maybe its fine time to get rid of assad and kim jong fat boy, for their horrible brutal crimes against humanity. I think handing them over to isis may be a good idea. They use the same medicines to help others understand what they want. The world seeing such a beautiful site would definitely enhance the lives of so many
