Conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck compared Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler during an interview yesterday with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week.”

As Beck spoke of the “anger and nationalism” that Trump is stirring up, he showed off a piece of propaganda from Nazi Germany, leading George Stephanopoulos to ask him if he’s saying Trump is Hitler. Beck argued that Trump is “playing to the lowest common denominator and to the anger in us,” and implored people to “look at Adolf Hitler in 1929.”

He described Hitler back then as a “funny character that said the things that people were thinking” before things got serious.

He called Trump a “dangerous man,” and even told Republicans who are saying a vote against Trump is a vote for Hillary Clinton to “stop playing those games.” Beck said if presented with a choice between the lesser of two evils, “I’m not going to vote for evil.”

Beck said the GOP is “stirring things up because they are more afraid of Ted Cruz than they are of Donald Trump.”

“The GOP has one last chance to listen to the people. And the people that, and I understand it, they’re very, very angry because the GOP did not listen the first time around. They didn’t listen to the Ron Paul people who are way ahead of the curve. Then the Tea Party people and they rubbed our nose in it. And they are tired. And they have created Donald Trump.

“The people are speaking clearly. And there’s two ways to go: anger and nationalism, which has been done before in history,” Beck said. “And you can go for nationalism, you can go for anger–” has been done before in history.”

  1. He says that is presented with a vote for the lesser is two evils, he will not vote for evil.
Does that mean one need not vote?

  2. Glenn Beck settled the issue of his sanity several days ago when he said that if he had the opportunity, he would stab Trump, and keep on stabbing.

  3. Maybe Beck is too consumed by the “White Horse Prophecy”. He lost my respect when he condemned Rav Kook when he was in Israel and condemned the Muslims because they didn’t believe in “three gods”.

  4. This is a horribly abused comparison. If Trump is stable or not, he’s certainly no Hitler.Beck must be desperate for ratings.

  5. That’s a total stretch. Hitler in his campaign speeches would talk anger not at the government but at the rich, how they became rich on their backs etc. No comparison…

  6. Where is Beck’s outrage every time a new is killed in israel with a terror attack, knifing, shooting or ramming?
Where is Beck’s outrage over the BSD of ISRAEL?
WHERE IS Beck’s outrage over the antisemitism and abuse of Jewish students at college campuses?
Where is Beck’s outrage over Iran’s threats to Israel?

I didn’t hear any, did you?

It seems that Beck is two faces and afraid that Trump will take the bull byt the horns and put these haters and Nazis in their place.
Beck is afraid that Israel will be supported and flourish.
It is Beck who is the hidden Nazi.
