louis-farrakhan[Video below.] Louis Farrakhan, speaking at the American Clergy Leadership Conference on May 28, lambasted President Barack Obama over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and U.S. military intervention in Libya, calling him an “assassin” and a “murderer.”

“We voted for our brother Barack, a beautiful human being with a sweet heart,” Farrakhan said, in a video making the rounds on the internet. But he has turned into someone else, Farrakhan told the crowd. “Now he’s an assassin.”

America “puts her trust in her weapons of war,” he continued. “She threatens the nations of the earth and has my brother calling for the assassination of brother Muammar Gaddafi. What has he done? I can defend that man. You don’t know that man.”

“My poor brother. They said they were only going over there for humanitarian reasons — and we believed that. You’ve been deceived.”

Farrakhan draws a comparison between U.S. intervention in Libya and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“You talk about a man killing his own people,” Farrakhan told the crowd. “When you lie to the American people saying that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. When you lie and then take innocent young men who come to serve their country, and send them to die in Iraq, in Afghanistan, over lies, that’s a murderer in the White House.”

  1. You don’t like farakan for the same reason you don’t like Obama. you’re a racist

I’ll prove it to you. you liked Bush. this is an irrefutable point!

  2. I don’t like Farrakhan. I voted for Obama. In this case, race has nothing to do with it. Farrakhan has been selling this poison for decades, continuing his father’s ideas.

It might interest you to know that many African-Americans don’t like Farrakhan either. He’s a demagogue, period.

However, I agree with #1 that a lot of the anti-Obama postings on this and similar sites do come from racism. How sad that we as a people who were just yesterday being slaughtered for belonging to an “inferior race’ are now falling prey to the same shameful lack of reasoning.

  3. My wish for Minister Farrakhan and President Obama is that if they both have daughters, that the their daughters marry each other. AND that such marriage take place in the White House. That would make Minister Farrakhan and President Obam really proud, wouldn’t it ????

  4. #1, aka Simpelton shebenar
more narishkeit from you. I dont like Obama either, for many reasons. It only becomes racist when you dont like Obama for doing the exact same thing Bush did which you were ok with when bush did it/said it. (eg hating obama for having the same position as bush regarding Israel while liking bush, as opposed to say hating Obama for supporting toeiva marriage while liking bush)
THAT is an irrefutable point. You are confusing (not surprising)”irrefutable point” with “meaningless drivel”
Are you ever actually going to respond to a point i make? weve left a couple hanging threads. Or would you rather just run around posting nonsense under my name. If you cant actually reply to my point man up and say so. Its good for your middos, probably better than avoiding “living steak” (which you still havent explained what it means)

  5. Dear matzav

    Please make accessable to all

  6. You used to hate Farrakhan as a sonei Yisroel — but now that he’s turned on Obama, his words suddenly become worth quoting?
    Priorities, please.

  7. #7:

We still hate him. We just think his lunacy’s fun to watch. We don’t like to watch displays of anti-Semitism.
