[Video below.] Friday morning, Erev Zos Chanukah, Vaad Harabbanim L’inyanei Tzedaka B’eretz Hakodesh will have a Minyan of Rabbanim Kohanim daven for their donors at the Kosel tunnels.
Who are the chosen Rabbanim? Those very same Rabbanim that are involved all year round in distributing the Tzedakah money of the Klal with accuracy. Rabbanim who understand the value of every dollar donated and depend greatly on their donors. What greater power can Tefillos have than those coming from Rabbanim who owe so much to the ones they are mispallel for- those who make it possible for them to continue in their Avodas Hakodesh.
Some of the Rabanim who will take part in this Minyan are:
R’ Levi Rabinovitch, Rosh Yeshivas Shaar Hashamayim and author of the famous Maadanei Hashulchan;
R’ Dovid Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva in Chevron Yeshiva;
R’ Shamai Gross, Dayan in Belz;
R’ Chaim Yudel Cohen, Rav in Ramot, Rav in Eidah Chareidis of Yerushalayim.
The Vaad has a regular minyan of Talmidei Chachamim davening at the kosel facing the Kodshei Hakodoshim, and forty day cycles are constantly initiated for its donors.
Most people are familiar with Vaad Harabbanim, the largest organization of its kind in Eretz Yisroel. Rabbanim of every city in Eretz Yisroel are involved in Vaad Harabbanim and assist in the difficult process of going through thousands of legitimate cases deciding how much to give each one.

Why the “Tirchah”? Why cant they just be Mispallel by the Kosel?? Why is this area any different?? And do they feel that if they change from the regular Kosel area their Tefillahs would be better answered??
