This afternoon, at approximately 5 p.m., a light aircraft had to make an emergency landing between the Tel Aviv port and the Reading power station, near the mouth of the Yarkon River.
The aircraft informed the control tower at Sde Dov that its systems were failing that it is preparing to make an emergency landing.
The plane ended up landing near the Metzizim beach in northern Tel Aviv.
Two people were lightly injured.
