Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu held a much-anticipated press conference with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden this afternoon, with the two criticizing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for his failure to denounce the wave of terror.

Following Netanyahu’s statement, Biden stated his disapproval of Abbas’ failure to speak out against the attacks.

“Let me say in no uncertain terms: The United States of America condemns these acts and condemns the failure to condemn these acts. This cannot become an accepted modus operandi,” he said.

  1. Thank you Vice President Biden for the unequivocal condemnation of not just the terrorism but (even more importantly) for Abbas’s failure to denounce it.
Just one note – “‘This cannot become an accepted modus operandi’” misses the fact that this has been the M.O. since the day Israel was founded and continuing without a pause despite Oslo, Wye and all other meetings, treaties and concessions.
