I lived in Crown heights during the late 50’s and early 60’s. I believe it was the nicest Jewish area at the time. Lubavitch was there, Bobov was there, Spinks was there, Young Israel was there. Everyone was friendly towards each other. We all said Good Shabbos to each other. There was a lot of Achdus.
