Videos: Thousands of Children Attend Kinnus Tefillah in Boro Park

kinnus-tefillah-boro-park[Multiple videos below.] In what has become an annual tradition, thousands of children participated yesterday in a yom tefillah for sick Jews scross the world. Children from the various neighborhoods of Flatbush and Boro Park gathered at the Bobover bais medrash on 48th Street in Boro Park. The event began with Minchah, followed with the recitation of Tehillim and a special tefillah for the sick among Klal Yisroel.

The event was organized by R’ Yanky Meyer and the Misaskim organization, and was broadcast live here on Matzav.com.

Tehillim and Avinu Malkeinu were led by Rav Matisyahu Salomon, mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood; Rav Yehudah Tirnauer, rov of the Shomer Shabbos Shul in Boro Park; and the Karlsburger Rov, Rav Yechezkel Roth.

  1. ‘Tefillah for sick Jews around the world’

    HKB”H can heal a million people, just as easily as He can heal one person.

    Why would we deliberately exclude sick people who happen to be Non-Yidden, from our Tefillohs? They too are HKB”H’s Masei Yodaim, Btzelem Elokim. The Rambam says that we must do Bikkur Cholim for them, because of Rachmonus.

    Besides being a nice gathering, it must also be a fruitful one, where we are Me’oreir Rachmim by HKB”H.
