[Video below.] Two workers were injured when a floor in building that is under construction in the Geula neighborhood of Yerushalayim collapsed, sending debris in all directions.
The top floor of the building came crashing down this morning, breaking the leg of one laborer, while injuring another. Both were tended to by emergency personal while firemen carefully walked through the structure in search of any other occupants.
A large crowd gathered to watch as Mayor Nir Barkat, accompanied by other officials, arrived to survey the scene.
The incident snarled traffic, as Rechov Malchei Yisroel, where the collapse took place, was shut down.
