[Videos and photos below.] A day after over 150,000 people protested in Yerushalayim and Bnei Brak against the Israeli High Court’s ruling regarding dozens of chareidi parents of Emmanuel, children of those sent to the Maasiyahu prison gathered there to wish their parents ‘Gut Shabbos.’ Dressed in their Shabbos finery, and some holding Shabbos goodies and challahs, the children sang and held hands, with some shedding tears as they stood outside the prison walls.
32 of the Emmanuel parents were sent to Maasiyahu prison where they will be serving their two-week sentence.
