The wedding of a grandson of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Bnei Brak, Rav Yisroel Hager, and a daughter of Rav Shneur Zalman Danciger, Aleksander Rebbe of Cleveland, was held last week in New York. The chosson is a son of Rav Chaim Meir Hager, rov of the Vizhnitz-Bnei Brak kehillah in Boro Park.
A sheva brachos was held in Cleveland on Monday, 24 Cheshvan/November 13. The Vizhnitzer Rebbe, zaide of the chosson, and Rav Chaim Shaul Taub, Modzitzer Rebbe, uncle of the kallah, both attended. The Modzitzer rebbetzin is a sister of the Aleksander Rebbe.
Mincha took place at K’hal Chasidei Aleksander in University Heights. A kabbolas ponim and atzeres tefillah with the two visiting admorim was then held at Young Israel of Greater Cleveland, with the participation of local roshei yeshiva, roshei kollel and rabbonim.
Later that evening, community members participated in the sheva brachos, also held at Young Israel.
