Watch a Commercial, Avoid $3 ATM Fees
You may soon be able to avoid hefty ATM fees, if you don’t mind putting up with some commercials.
A New Jersey man has created an ATM that gives you the option of letting advertisers cover the surcharge.
The ad will play during the time the screen’s message indicates a transaction is processing, which usually takes typically 10 second or less.
Customers can also choose not to view the ad and pay a $3 fee.
Right now, the first and only such ATM can be found in Brooklyn.
