Speaking to Neil Cavuto Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Ben Carson expressed his disappointment with the recently announced decision that the Treasury will replace President Andrew Jackson with abolitionist Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill.

The failed presidential candidate turned Trump surrogate lamented to Neil Cavuto that Jackson was “a tremendous president” and “in honor of that we kick him off the money.” Asked whether he is, by extension, anti-Tubman, the retired neurosurgeon replied: “No. I love Harriet Tubman, I love what she did. We can find another way to honor her. Maybe a $2 bill?” The U.S. two-dollar bill is famously low in public circulation and seldom used.

  1. You could really put her on the $50 dollar bill. It might be pretty nice. The world would not have a Tubman Twenty but a Fifty with good considered hope.

Still, I am sure Mr. Grant might not mind. He actually fought the war just for her rights in America.

    It might be smart.
