The Israeli Navy conducted successful test of a new sea-bound anti-missile defense system. The Tamir-Adir system, which is called the “Iron Dome of the sea,” can intercept short-range ballistic missiles while placed on a moving ship and will be used to protect strategic assets, such as natural gas rigs, in Israel’s territorial waters.
