Each year in Israel on Memorial Day (Yom Hazikaron), at 11:00 a.m., sirens wail throughout the country, and for two minutes everyone stops, stands, and remembers Israel’s fallen soldiers.
Traditionally dedicated to Israel’s fallen soldiers (23,477 to date), the commemoration has been extended to civilian victims of terror.
May the neshamos of these fallen Yidden have an aliyah and may Hashem bless the members of His nation across the world with peace and the ultimate geulah bekarov.
