Yeshiva Derech Hatorah of Chicago recently held its annual parlor meeting. A crowd of a few hundred people attended the parlor meeting which was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Moshe Davis. The theme of this years campaign was “making yeshiva enjoyable for every bachur” and featured a video that gave everyone a clear understanding of how the yeshiva is successful with every bachur. The guest speaker was Rabbi Binyomin Eisenberger, Rav of Heichel Hatefilah in Boro Park, who made his first appearance in Chicago in honor of the yeshiva. He spoke about how each and every person is unique and has the need to express their individuality, and how Yeshiva Derech Hatorah allows each bachur to do so. He urged the oilam to recognize the need for yeshivos that help every yachid bring out their kochos in a positive way. The Rav expressed how special it is for the community to stand behind this yeshiva and come out to show their support.
