U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz spoke today on the Senate floor, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six Day War. Sen. Cruz also reiterated his steadfast support for moving the American embassy to Yerushalayim and formally recognizing the city as the eternal and undivided capital of Israel.

“I rise to mark a truly significant and momentous day. Starting this evening, millions around the world will celebrate Yom Yerushalayim, also known as Jerusalem Day.

“I am proud to join our close ally Israel and the Jewish people in celebrating this historic, 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.”

  1. Incredible. A real oheiv yisrael. A man with principles and not afraid to stand up for them. Hopefully the country will have enough sense to vote for him for president one day.

  2. I was pro Cruz up until he chose Carly Fiorina as his running mate. Once he chose that crazy woman, I lost all interest & respect in his Presidency. If he apologizes and runs again, I’ll reconsider.
