Tens of thousands of people attended the levayah today of Rav Aryeh Finkel zt”l, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Mir-Brachfeld.
The levayah started at Mir Brachfeld before continuing at Mir Yerushalayim.
Hespeidim at Mir Brachfeld included Rav Noam Alon, rosh yeshiva of Mir Brachfeld; Rav Meir Kessler, rov of Modi’in Illit; Rav Avrohom Yitzchok Barzel, R”M at Mir-Brachfeld, Rav Tzvi Partzovitz, R”M at Mir Yerushalayim; and the Sanzer Rebbe of Netanyah, who delivered the final hesped.
At Mir Yerushalayim, divrei hesped were delivered first by Rav Eliezer Yehudah Finkel, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim; then Rav Berel Povarsky, rosh yeshiva of Ponovezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak; Rav Aharon Chodosh, mashgiach of Mir Yerushalayim and brother in law of the niftar; Rav Avigdor Nevenzhal, former rov of the Old City of Yerushalayim; and Rav Binyamin Hatzaddik Finkel, son of the niftar.
Kevurah is being held on Har Hamenuchos.
