Watch: Yidden at Zichron Moshe Dance Spontaneously with Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin

As first reported by Matzav.com, Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin is on his first visit to Eretz Yisroel since his release from prison.

Just yesterday, a most amazing incident occurred as Reb Sholom Mordechai entered the storied Zichron Moshe shul in Yerushalayim. As some mispallelim recognized the special guest from chutz la’aretz, they greeted him warmly and then broke out in spontaneous dancing, singing, “Chasdei Hashem ki lo samnu.”

Jews of different stripes locked hands and circled, celebrating now, in August, what Diaspora Jews had celebrated back in December with Sholom Mordechai’s release. The simcha was real and tangible, as the holy Yidden of the Holy City expressed their heartfelt feelings of happiness for the American counterpart who inspired them – as he did those on the other side of the ocean – with his steadfast emunah and bitachon despite his trying ordeal and daunting circumstances.
