Twin bombings in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna killed at least 82 people today and Boko Haram is suspected to be responsible. One of the attacks in a crowded marketplace targeted former president and opposition leader Muhammadu Buhari. A Red Cross official said 50 were killed at that bombing.
An additional 32 were killed earlier in the day in a bombing that took place as a popular moderate Muslim cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, was about to lead his congregation in prayer. Neither Buhari nor Bauchi were killed.
