The White House on Wednesday banned a CNN reporter from a press event in the Rose Garden for asking President Trump questions, according to a CNN report.

Kaitlan Collins, a White House reporter for CNN, got in trouble with the White House when she asked at an event, “Did Michael Cohen betray you, Mr. President?” and repeated the question once, according to CNN.

She then asked, “Mr. President, are you worried about what Michael Cohen is about to say to the prosecutors? Are you worried about what is on the other tapes, Mr. President?”

After the event, communications deputy Bill Shine informed Collins that she was not invited to a press availability in the Rose Garden later in the afternoon because she asked questions that were “inappropriate” for the venue and for reportedly shouted the questions.

Press Secretary Sanders later explained that the White House “support[s] a free press” but added that they expect “everyone be respectful of the presidency and guests at the White House.”

  1. In truth, there’s no reason for CNN to actually be present as mainstream fake media have been caught reading the same distorted script. They don’t even bother to change the wording around anymore.

  2. A pox on both their houses. The white house core are no longer reporters. They are not there to report the news. They are there to make the news. They are there to attack the President and make him look bad. How can we hurt this man? How can we embarrass him? How can we undermine him? Their goal is to make the President respond in a way that he will regret later on. That is their ultimate goal. They act as if its reality TV show. This has nothing to do with free press.
