The White House responded to ESPN anchor Jemele Hill’s comments on Twitter in which she called President Trump a “white supremacist.”

“I’m not sure he’s aware of it,” press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during Wednesday’s briefing with reporters. “I think that’s one of the more outrageous comments anyone could make and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN.”

While the network distanced itself from the comments and publicly reprimanded Hill for the tweet storm, she hasn’t faced any visible discipline. The postings remain on her Twitter profile even after ESPN issued it’s statement calling Hill’s comments “inappropriate.” Read more here.

  1. The headline is the kind of dishonesty one would expect from the Big-Lie MSM, and probably a direct quote from them. Matzav is/should be better than that.

The article itself says that the press secretary called the comment “a fireable offense” but never did anybody from the WH call for the racist commentator to actually be fired. In any case, ESPN only fires people for making right-wing statements, or being honest by saying thing like “ESPN has become politicized.”
