Windows XP Finally Dies

windows-expoDespite being created 13 years ago, Microsoft XP was still on nearly 30 percent of PCs in the U.S. as of February 2014. And perhaps because its subsequent products weren’t very desirable, Microsoft had a hard time getting consumers to get rid of the old operating system.

Now, Microsoft is pulling the plug, announcing that it will no longer support Windows XP. XP will still work, but Microsoft warns that it is unlikely for the PC to be secure. Read more at the Los Angeles Times.
