Parts of the Tri-State area could see wintry weather overnight.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 8 p.m. Monday until 11 a.m. Tuesday for western Passaic, Morris, Sussex and Warren counties in New Jersey, Rockland and northern Westchester counties in New York, and the interior areas of Connecticut, CBS News reports.

The New York City Department of Sanitation has issued a snow alert starting at 8 p.m. tonight to prepare equipment and personnel for potential winter weather.
