Winter Weather Comes Early Across Tri-State

Yesterday was the coldest day of the season — with temperatures falling to the upper-20s and lower 30s across the tri-state area in the morning, CBS New York reports.

For many places, it didn’t seem to warm up either, with highs nearing the upper 40s and low 50s.

The cold weather had people digging into their closets for their winter weather gear for the first time this season.

Temperatures expected to get even colder this morning.
