A 65-year-old woman in Afula, Israel, cleaning her home for Pesach discovered a forgotten lottery ticket that turned out to be worth 7 million shekels, or about $1.8 million.
Kol Haolam reports that the woman had purchased the ticket a month ago but then forgot about it. When one of her sons checked the numbers last week, he discovered that she had indeed won the grand prize.
The woman has a large family and a lot of debt. She plans to pay off the debt, distribute money to her family members and continue her volunteer work with the elderly.

  1. The limud is, if you toil and clean for Pesach , you will be rewarded in this world and in the world to come. If you go to a Hotel instead you will get no reward. Simple as that.
