Tova Richler, 59, a resident of New York who traveled to Israel to attend her father’s levaya, was kept from the funeral by Arab youths who stoned her car on Erev Shabbos Chol Hamoed.
Richler and her family were traveling to the Har Hazeisim cemetery in Yerushalayim, but near the Gethsemane Church, some 10 Arab youths pelted the vehicle with rocks and bricks, disabling it, and Richler suffered shock.
Richler was with her sister, her brother in-law and her nephew at the time. It took several hours for them to get on their way. Because the levaya had to be held before Shabbos, the rest of the family and attendees had no choice but to go ahead with the funeral without them.
Richler said that she’s heard of people’s cars being stoned, but she “never thought this would happen to me.”

That’s ok, just give away more land and they’ll stop.
They should get their hands cut off as a partial punishment.
They shall have their hands cut off as partial punishment
And if it would be in the reverse THE MEDIA WOULD HAVE A FIELD DAY.
Why couldn’t they postpone until Sunday? It is terrible to miss a father’s levaya.
according to minhag yerushalayim, it is Osur to leave a meis over night not buried, let alone shabbos!
