Women of the Wall, the women’s group who cause trouble at the Kosel every month, is calling on Israeli women to join a new campaign for ‘putting tefillin on people’ on city streets, this time in the heart of Tel Aviv.
“My sister, did you put on tefillin today? Would you like to enwrap yourself in a tallit?”, calls the group’s Facebook post announcing the “Tefillin Event” this coming Friday.

I knew they were deranged but I thought only 1 day a month but now I see they are deranged all year long.
Let them do their craziness in Tel Aviv, away from the Kossel. When I was there a few months ago I noticed a group of the jewish taliban women who cover their faces harassing these reform feminists off the wall women. They did such a fantastic job that I pulled out a stack of twenties and gave each on twenty dollars.
They should rename themselves as Twisted Sisters.
Dear vacations. They can put on tefillin. Rashis daughters of course dud. Its the fringes they add to blasphemy.
Hate broads. Let them burn generations of never their blind day. Totality to dead bed or even bible.
I don’t understand what you posted. Could you please rephrase in plain English?

Bruria, Rashi’s daughter, was a frum woman. WOW women are not frum nor do they want to be. They are feminists through and through and want to change Yiddishkeit to fit their twisted agenda. If they ever attain Bruria’s level of yiras Shamayim and gadlus then by all means let them put on tefillin. Until then, they’re nothing but a bunch of misguided troublemakers.
Rashi had no daughter named Bruria. He had 3 daughters, Yocheved, Miriam, and Rochel.
The Bruriah adopted as a feminist icon, is Bruriah the wife of the Tanna R. Meir.
Since when did Rashi’s daughters put on Tefilin? It’s not recorded in any reliable source, it’s simply a myth.
I’m guessing you are an avid user of Google translate. Well once you get around to translating this into Hebrew or French, keep this in mind יתמו חטאים מן הארץ – חטאים ולא חוטאים
Since they probably used tefillin written by female “soferim”, in adherence to their agenda, there’s no kedusha involved. let them play their games.
i wonder if their men folk ever put on talis and tefillin
They are reform heretical women who don’t even observe shabbos. Ignore their antics. It’s just a pilublicity stunt.
Ignore them and they will stop.
Challenge them and they get to be the poor persecuted victims.
Rav Moshe Feinstein penned a Tshuva about women wearing Tefilin in 1975, (Orach Chayim 4:49) where he writes that though according to some it’s technically not prohibited, being that these women are motivated not by Yiras Shomayim, but rather, a radical feminist agenda, and this being the Jewish expression of their agenda, it’s prohibited for such women to don Tefilin.
I think a good question to challenge them with is, “Do your husband’s also wear Tefilin?”, I’d guess that in almost all cases, the answer is no.
Funny thing, not one of them even knows how to properly wear tefillin! (see picture in linked aruntz sheva article)
just another publicity stunt to raise money from naive American Jews who believe their lies about “fighting for religious freedom and women’s rights”.Just a bunch of modern day Hellenists who want to destroy Torah.
how dare you insult Lubavitchers to compare them to these rishaim
