Secretary of State John Kerry announced today that world powers have agreed to implement a “cessation of hostilities” in Syria. However, this would not apply to the fighting between ISIS and the al-Nusra front within the country.
According to Kerry, a United Nations task force will be implemented to make sure that humanitarian access is provided to all sides. Now, it is yet to be determined if the parties on the ground will in fact abide by the terms of the agreement. Read more at BBC News.
