Jeralean TalleyThe woman considered to be the world’s oldest person, Jeralean Talley, died in Michigan on Wednesday just a month after her 116th birthday.

  1. The nineteenth century is almost completely gone now. It doesn’t seem so long ago that there were people in their 70’s who were born in the 1800’s. Then, the last survivors of the Spanish-American war died, the last WWI ace died, the last General Slocum survivor died, the last Titanic survivor died, the last Eastland survivor died, the last American WWI soldier died and even WWII soldiers are vanishing fast.
    Time marches on.
