  1. Matzav reaches a wide audience. But I speak for my experience as well as that of my friends in boro park kensington and flatbush. We are given endless bogus moving violation tickets, parking tickets, sanitation tickest etc. The cops have a quota that they must fill; and that is accomplished on the backs of hard working middle class people. If Ch”V you should need the police for non emergecy (718 851 5611), its takes an hour for them to respond; claiming noone available. So NO, I do not support the corrupt cops.
    Hard working in Kensington

    • There is a time and place to complain about the mayor who imposes these quotas on the cops. Policemen don’t join the force to write tickets; they could be a meter maid for that price. They join to serve and protect. Unfortunately, our politicians abuse them for tickets. Right now we do need to show the individual cops our personal support.

  2. It’s a good thing the Yated is thee official spokesmouth for Kllal Yisroel. We would mamesh be lost without their sagacious direction and advice. Now, the gedolim/Rabbanim don’t have to be nervous. We have the Yated. B”H.

    • Absolutely! They also have special abra k’dabra bitul powers. They’ll even undo the shooting l’mafraya!

  3. The reason for the sarcasm and bitterness expressed by previous posters is beyond me.
A simple “Thank you” to the police officers in this country (whose job description includes putting their lives at risk to save ours when necessary) is for some reason worthy of derision?

Appreciation for cops in general, condolences for those who were brutally murdered and wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured is nothing but common decency.
