As of about 12:30 a.m., with about one third of votes counted in the municipal elections in Yerushalayim, incumbent Nir Barkat has a slight lead over his opponent, Moshe Leon.
Leon received backing from many chareidim. He was supported by MK Avigdor Lieberman and MK Aryeh Deri.
Low voter turnout had people pointing to Leon as the winner, but Barkat is in the lead for now.
