Yerushalayim is Israel’s most populous city, with 804,355 residents, almost twice as many as Tel Aviv, according to a recent Knesset Research and Information Center report.
More than a third of Israel’s population (36 percent) lives in its 10 largest cities, the report found, with one in every 10 people (10.2% of the population) living in Yerushalayim. Tel Aviv came in second place, with 404,750 residents. Read more at Israel Hayom.
