Under new guidelines voted on by the Cabinet just one week ago, the body of the truck terrorist will never be returned to his family for burial, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said, Times of Israel reports.

“We will not allow this vile terrorist or his family to hold a funeral where he is treated with honor, encouraging other attacks,” Erdan declared. “His body will be buried but only by the security forces and in a place to which the family and his supporters will not have access.”

The attacker, who accelerated as he rammed into a group of soldiers, was Fadi al-Qanbar, a resident of the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood of east Jerusalem. Al-Qanbar was shot by soldiers in the group and died of his wounds.

  1. And the burial honors given should be similar to those allegedly devised by General ‘Black Jack’ Pershing for the Muslim insurgents in the Philippines roughly 110 years ago…

  2. Uh oh. I can’t see the UN or the honorable John Kerry to pleased with this. Are the Israelis breaking the Geneva convention rules by not returning the body to the grieving family?
