Tonight, a wedding was to be held for a chosson and his kallah at the Gutnick hall in Givat Shaul, Yerushalayim, but the chupah was unexpectedly delayed – because the chosson is a kohein.
A person in a store on Rechov Beit Hadfus in the same building where the wedding hall is located suddenly lost consciousness. MDA and United Hatzalah were called and paramedics carried out lengthy resuscitation efforts. After about an hour, a physician declared the person dead, while forensic experts and Zaka were called to the scene.
Only after police arrived and examined the circumstances was it confirmed that there was no criminal nature to the incident, allowing Zaka to proceed with the removal of the body and prepare it for burial.
In the interim, because the chosson and his family are kohanim, they had to vacate the premises.
Approximately two hours after the scheduled time, the couple and their families re-entered the hall and the wedding began.

Why give more attention to the Chupa being delayed than to the person being Niftar A”H R”L?
Sadly – A wedding with a dead start.
I”H This newly married couple will bring many children into this world!
And this is newsworthy because????
I hope the wedding was leibidik!
bs’d To #4 – this is newsworthy because it shows how the Jewish people are faithful to halacha. Under common circumstances it does not make a roshem. Our fidelity to halacha under an unusual circumstance is an inspiring thing.
Can you please find a better word than “kohanic”? Sounds like some disease.
Why couldn’t the Chasson just cover himself with a plastic bag like that famous picture on the plane?
#8, because then maybe he will lose conscious and then he will be the problem to do deal with
