Chechenov Yeshiva Forbids Electronic Cigarettes and More

With the beginning of Elul, the Chechenov Yeshiva in Yerushalayim has implemented a prohibition against electronic cigarettes.

Other new rules at the yeshiva requires everyone eating in the dining room to wear a hat, and forbids participating in in vorts, aufrufs and sheva brachos. Weddings of friends may be attended from 9:15 to 11:15 p.m.

The yeshiva is located in the building of Mosdos Kaliv on Rechov Chana.

The yeshiva also banned the bochurim from flying to kivrei tzaddikim abroad.

In addition, using a cell phone during yeshiva time is forbidden.

  1. What about Fresing and stuffing ones face. They should forbid that and encourage the boys to do a little exercise. That’s equally as dangerous or more dangerous them smoking.
