  1. Again, very deep appreciation is owed to the many people who posted quite a few extremely wonderful comments at the first reporting of this tragic story at http://matzav.com/avigayil-and-yael-gross-ah and at the first update at http://matzav.com/tefillos-for-yitzchok-and-michoel-gross and at this update here.

The writers of these comments — and I most certainly include myself along with them — mentioned three themes:

1.) We all express our most deep searing pain at this severely horrific occurrance and give our most deep sincere hearfelt condolences to the parents and the entire Mishpacha on this horrificly tragic death of their two infant daughters: Avigaiyil and Yael Gross, A’H.

2.) We all announce a strong call for everyone to be fervently Mispallel and say Tehillim for, Yibodlem L’Chaim Tovim V’Aruchim, the severely injured surviving two sons, Yitzchok and Michoel Gross: Refoel Yitzchok Eizik ben Michal and Chaim Michoel Shlomo ben Michal.

3.) We all announce a strong fervent call for everyone to realize in this terrible catastrophie Hashem’s strong exhortation to us to do T’Shuva, especially in certain areas.

4.) Along with this there should also be a call for people to learn Mishnaiyos — with a setup that the entire Shas Mishnaiyos will be covered — L’Illui Nishmas the two deceased daughters: Yael Bas Shimon, A’H, and Avigayil Bas Shimon, A’H.

  2. (continuation of my previous comment)

As an integral part of all of this, at the first reporting of the story at http://matzav.com/avigayil-and-yael-gross-ah, in comments #11, #12, #15, #16, #17, and #18, two people and I pointed out another one of the key parts of our T’Shuva:

WE NEED TO FULLY REALIZE THE EXCESSIVELY GRAVE DANGERS THAT ARE INHERENT IN THESE SEVERELY DEADLY INSECTICIDE (AND OTHER PESTICIDE) POISONS AND TOTALLY STOP USING THEM!!!!!!

THEIR SUPPOSED “BENEFIT” (THAT THEY KILL BUGS AND WEEDS AND OTHER PESTS) IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE LIFE OF EVEN ONE PERSON!!!!!! AND HERE, TWO INFANT GIRLS WERE KILLED!!!!!!

And their supposed benefit is not even worth the numerous people who — while not KILLED by them — are nevertheless INJURED by them!!

And their supposed benefit is not even worth the countless other people who — while not OUTRIGHT killed or injured by them — nevertheless have subtle damage from them!! This is subtle damage that, even if it will take many years, will nevertheless develop into, Lo Alaynu, Yenem Machla and/or many other destructive diseases. (Again, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_effects_of_pesticides.)
