The New York Lottery announced today that a winning second-prize Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million has been sold in Midwood.
The ticket was purchased Tuesday evening at Rocky Food Inc., located at 1117 McDonald Ave., for the drawing held that night.
According to an Boropark24, the winning ticket was purchased by a middle age Jewish man. The man won after matching all five white balls but missing the Mega Ball number.
The winning numbers announced Tuesday were 4-38-39-54-59, Mega Ball 12 and Megaplier 3X, according to the Mega Millions website. There were no jackpot winners, fourteen other people also won the $10,000 prize jackpot after matching four white balls and the Mega Ball, the website states.
