102,500 Bnei Torah in Israeli Yeshivos

As Rosh Hashanah approaches, the Torah world in Eretz Yisroel is rejoicing over the burgeoning olam hayeshivos, which is comprised of 34,944 bochurim and 77,500 yungeleit. These include about 5,000 bochurim from overseas, most of them from the United States.

Yeshivos following the Ponevezh derech have been learning Maseches Nedorim this zman and those following the Chevron derech have been learning Maseches Kesubos.

Due to the growth of the Torah world, a number of yeshivos opened new branches, some in newer towns like Modi’in and Elad.
