A shooting at a club in Fort Myers, Florida, that killed two people and injured at least 14 more took place at a teen party, according to reports.
The attack hit Club Blu and injured people aged between 12 and 27, according to Lee Memorial Hospital. The shooting took place in the parking lot when parents were picking up their children from the underage event.
The club’s Facebook page has since removed a post that reportedly called the shooting “a despicable act” and said, “We tried to give the teens WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SAFE PLACE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. Ages 12-17. There was armed security as well as full security, inside and out.” Read more at CBS NEWS.
