18 Dead A Week After Landslide

mudslide1Authorities said yesterday that 18 people are confirmed dead and 30 are still missing a week after a catastrophic landslide hit Oso, Washington. At 10:37 a.m., rescue works marked the week anniversary of the slide with a moment of silence, and officials described the search as mostly recovering “partial” victims — arms, legs, and other body parts that are difficult to identify quickly.
