A solar-powered airplane made it across the Atlantic Ocean and landed in Spain early Thursday, completing a three-day trip.
The unprecedented flight was just the latest leg of a record voyage for the Solar Impulse 2.
The 71-hour trip started in New York City on Monday. The aircraft used no fuel and had zero emissions, organizers said. The plane’s worldwide voyage began in March 2015 from the United Arab Emirates. Read more.
