Israel suffered two cases of sudden infant death syndrome or SIDS on Thursday morning after two children didn’t wake up in their homes.

the first incident a two-year-old didn’t wake up at his home in Elad.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Benzion Eisenberg who was one of the first responders at the scene relayed: “When we arrived at the home of the family, we found an infant who was not breathing and had no pulse. According to family members, he did not wake up in the morning. After a lengthy attempt to resuscitate the child he was transported to the hospital while still undergoing CPR. Due to the nature of the incident, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit was dispatched to provide emotional and psychological assistance to the family.”

The boy was transported to Schneider Children’s Hospital where, unfortunately, they pronounced his death in the hospital.

The second case took place in Yerushalayim when a six-month-old didn’t wake up in the morning.

EMT Benzi Shpitzer who was one of the first responders at the scene relayed: “When we arrived we found the infant with no signs of life. His family members said that he hadn’t woken up in the morning. With great sadness, paramedics who arrived at the scene were forced to pronounce his death. This appears to have been a case of SIDS. The Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit was called for and dispatched to the scene in order to assist the family in dealing with this great tragedy.”

    • Nonsense and stupidity. There is absolutely no medical data to back up your boeich svaras. First it was autism, now you’ve moved on to Sids?

    • correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that the famous ruling of Shlomo Ha Melech has to do with a baby who tragically and inexplicably died in his sleep? I don’t think vaccines were available back then.
