United Hatzalah was founded in 2006 as a volunteer organization whose mission is to provide professional first medical response that saves lives. To date, United Hatzalah boasts 5,000 medics, paramedics, and doctors who are spread out in every city and town in Israel and is recognized by the Ministry of Health as an emergency medical care responder.
