Two people were killed and at least 20 injured in a mass shooting in Miami early Sunday, the Miami-Dade Police Department said.

Three people got out of an SUV and “began shooting indiscriminately into the crowd,” that were standing outside a “scheduled event” at an establishment on 186th Street, to the west of Miami Gardens, in Hialeah, a statement from police said.

Investigators were hunting for the suspects who returned to their vehicle and fled the scene after the incident, the statement added.

“I am at the scene of another targeted and cowardly act of gun violence, where over 20 victims were shot and 2 have sadly died,” Miami-Dade police director Alfredo Ramirez III said in a tweet early on Sunday.

A white Nissan Pathfinder pulled up to the location and three people got out with assault weapons and handguns and started firing into the crowd that was gathered for a concert at the venue, CNN reported.

  1. What is the race of the suspects? Who should we be looking for? We’ve got to clamp down on these out of control white supremacist MAGA hat wearing insurrectionist Trump supporters.

  2. Of all the great places to live in Florida, why does the frum community have to stick to the Miami metropolitan area?! If there were local yeshivos for the kids, including highschools, a lot of people would move to some suburbs in the Central or North Florida. For whatever stupid reason, every major US frum community is located in the Democrat-controlled areas, like the three Miami-area counties, most big cities even in the Republican states such as in Texas, or even worse – completely Democrat states such as North East. We need to open yeshivos in the conservative states and conservative counties, and outside of any big cities. Why continue living in misery?!

      • 11:35, stay on topic: I *want*, while in golus, to live in a conservative county and town (even better unincorporated) in Florida, in suburbs preferably 30-45 minutes away from a metropolitan center. That means somewhere *outside* of Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville, and outside of the Democrat-controlled metropolitan-centers’ counties, in more rural counties I guess. It takes a few hundred families with kids to fill-up grades k through 12, and spread out the cost of a school. So, with a few hundred families we can start a new community in a better quality of life and safer place. Are you in?
