Israeli police forces arrested at least 20 Palestinians in eastern Yerushalayim on Thursday in a raid targeting crime and terror activity.
Police and border patrol forces arrested those suspected of participating in terror activity, “rioting, possession of illegal weapons, drugs and stolen property,” a police statement said.
Authorities also confiscated illegal arms, ammunition and military gear. More Palestinians were arrested this week in other police raids in the Judea and Samaria region.
The raids follow a number of terror attacks by Palestinians against Israeli security forces in eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. JNS.ORG
