candle-small6Monticello – It is with great sadness that we report the passing of a 22-month-old baby who fell into a pool this past week.

On Shabbos morning, two young children at the Cold Springs Bungalow Colony squeezed through a fence that surrounds the pool there. A 22-month-old child entered the water while a three-year-old began to scream. Hatzolah responded immediately and worked on the child for close to an hour until they managed to regain his pulse. The child was flown to the Trauma Center at Westchester and Yidden around the globe were davening for a refuah sheleimah for Zev Aryeh ben Nechama. This young neshamah returned to its Creator today.

Umachah Hashem dimach me’al kol ponim.

As reported previously, in two other incidents, which both occurred at about 5 p.m. on Erev Shabbos, a fourteen-year-old bochur at Camp Karlin Stolin almost drowned and was taken to Westchester Trauma Center, while at Ichud Bungalow Colony on Route 42 an-eight-year old child was pulled from a pool.

  1. Shocking; just tragically shocking

BDE: what a tragedy to befall klal yisroel in the midst of the 3 weeks.

how much longer WILL I CRY IN PAIN over our brothers pain? as long as the tragedies don’t stop, my crying & mourning over klal yisroel doesn’t stop… I sit in mourning at night crying as I say tikkun chatzos on behalf of all my brothers-including YOU-for an end to all tzaros.

Can YOU also show Hashem your love for every yid & their tzaros by doing teshuva as a nation together so mashiach can come already?

will we EVER wake up & start doing teshuva together as a nation?

does anyone think this is coincidence? have you ever heard the fact that there is no such thing as coincidence?

you make me cry bitterly as I write this. it doesn’t sound as bad when you only know 1 side of the story (our side & view of this tragedy) its a horrific tragedy when you know the other side (Hashem’s side) & know that this entire tragedy could’ve been avoided.

remove the word tragedy from klal yisroel already.
how bad must it get C”V?

May his neshama have an aliya & her family comforted among klal yisroel.

none of us can be menachem a family over the loss of a 2 year old innocent child, the only thing we can do to show- Hashem-our care & pain for them is TESHUVA so this never happens again.
