If the Supreme Court rolls back the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion rights ruling, as reported Monday night in a leaked draft opinion, access to abortion would become a state-by-state issue, with some states protecting access and others implementing “trigger laws” that would ban the procedure the moment Roe is struck down, NBC NEWS reports.
An NBC News analysis of Center for Reproductive Rights data found that 23 states would institute bans, with trigger laws on the books in 13 of them. A second abortion rights advocacy group, the Guttmacher Institute, counted 26 states it considered certain or likely to ban abortion, based on laws passed before and after Roe in the event it was overturned.
Some states, like Michigan and Wisconsin, have anti-abortion laws that predate Roe, while 13 states, including Arkansas, North Dakota and Ohio, have laws that would go into effect soon after Roe is overruled. In Florida, for example, a 15-week abortion ban is set to take effect in July. And in Indiana, the Legislature has enacted dozens of restrictions and bans related to abortion over the past decade. States like California, New York, Oregon and Washington have protected abortion rights by codifying them into state law, data from the Center for Reproductive Rights shows. Others, like Iowa, Minnesota and Montana, have recognized the right through court rulings.

Of course, where most of the Frum Yidden live, in NY and NJ, it is 100% legal and encouraged. And not only that. YOU, the stupid guilible taxpayers have to pay for it!
Freedom keeps growing.
Halfway there.
I hope the Supreme Court comes through. These are our kids!
Why are you reprinting information from NBC news? This information is false. The only discussion at hand is whether to ban abortion after 15 weeks.
How is it that for years now in Poll after poll as America keeps passing and/or tolerating degenerate court ruling after ruling the world beyond the borders and Beyond syndicated media perceive the US as going down and getting weaker. And precisely when the Court ruling get more better traditional the world perception follows that America has stabilized.
Compared with the relatively conservative mid 80’s the freaking and foaming is small fry
And they will try harder..
If the US comes through with flying colors you will hear a whole different story afterwards..begrudgingly

Rabbinic Group Rejects Distortion of Jewish View on Fetal Life
Washington, DC, May 3, 2022—Following declarations from partisan Jewish individuals and organizations claiming that restrictions on abortion represent a “specific Christian belief” that would limit the ability of Jews to “practice their religion,” the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), issued the following statement:
As stated in the CJV white paper on abortion, “The Jewish Bible identifies human life as a soul placed (breathed) within a body by G-d Himself, with inestimable sanctity and value.” That is the authentic Jewish view, as determined by Rabbinic texts and legal codes stretching back to Sinai. We support Heartbeat Laws and other efforts to distinguish between tragic cases of abortion due to medical necessity, as compared to disregard for fetal life as simply the mother’s “choice.”
Reversing Roe v. Wade would not ban abortion, as alarmists insist—on the contrary, it would restore this policy decision to the hands of the democratic governments of the individual states. We hope that more states will be able to enact reasonable restrictions, and restore America to a posture of valuing all human life.
Coalition for Jewish Values, represents over 2,000 traditional, Orthodox rabbis . A 501(c)3 non-profit, CJV advocates for classical Jewish ideas and standards in matters of American public policy.
And 27 States permit murdering babies until a month after birth.
Facts: abortions keeps crime lower. More living spaces available. The food supply will stay viable. The welfare rolls are lowered therefore your TAXES are lower. Rgenfering neighborhoods is easier. The schools are LESS crowed,
There are more benefits, like Yidden will be safer, get it. NY & NJ know what is right and good.
I agree
I love the euphemism Reproductive Rights. Any news organization that uses it is showing their bias. There is no question or debate on individuals reproductive rights. The debate about abortion is totally about when life begins and the rights of the fetus and embryo.
All agree that men women and children have all their rights as long as it affect another’s. One’s rights end when only when they infringe on other people’s rights as we all have seen with vaccines and mask mandates and lockdowns.
Jen Psaki is an evil ugly witch.
